I've finally got something to say again.

Ok, it’s time to break out the LJ. I’m feeling emo as shit right about now, and it’s all Katie’s fault. She’s finally popped up on Facebook, and it just reminds me how much I miss her. And Dylan. And Leah. And SarahKat, and Erin and Jeff, and Lawson, and, fuck it, everybody. I love you all, and you’re not here.

I know, I’ve got friends here. Thank god I still have some friends around. I love them dearly too. That doesn’t seem to make it better. At least I see Kate and Erin and Jeff and ever SarahKat once in a while. But Japan’s fucking far away. And I’ve actually gone and looked up airfare to Tokyo. Twice.

I’d be nice to win the lottery or something.

My life has become nothing but projects and actions, crafted towards notions of business plans and resumes. That’s not an end, it’s a means. The whole point is to make enough money to be able to live while I surround myself with friends I love. That’s hard to do when they live all over the world.

I hug you. Amherst is not far, you should come see us. Conversely, Kingston is not far and we should come see you, sometime when there is less school. It is hard with everyone being so far away. I get lonely for you guys as well.

Yeah, we should come see you. I wish Anna and I shared weekends. Her weekend is Wednesday and Thursday. It's not very conducive to travel... :)

I hear you on people living too far away and being too spread out. That's what I'm dreading most about the end of May, is everyone moving again.

i'll visit when i come back in august. it'll only be a couple of weeks since i'm planning on staying another year, but i fully intend to visit people sometime in the middle.

I miss ya too, buddy. I'd like to come to Annandale some time soon, but work is work, and a toll's a toll, and a roll's a roll, and if we don't get no toll's, then we don't get no rolls. I [hadn't] made that up. I'll visit as soon as I can, though. ^_^
