Mind you, I’ve barely posted in the last year, but it seemed worthwhile to make the shift.
Thank you for the best weekend of my year.

Thank you everybody. The weekend's just started, but I've already had possibly the best time I've had all year. Even better, there wasn't really anything unique about this weekend; it could all happen again any time. Becky was here, and she was a huge part of the wonderfulness, but she'll be back. (She promised.) Everyone else will be here always, and that make me incredibly happy. I love you all.

I'm a senior this year. I get one more year as a real student and then that's it. And I feel like I wasted last year living so far away. I want to make the most of this year, and if I keep living like this I know I'll have no regrets.

So I have a favor to ask of you. I'm going to be working on my senior project this year. There will always be more work for me to do. Please, tug on me to be social. If you haven't seen me for a while and you want to hang out, give me a call. Make me go outside and play. I'll be eternally grateful.

Love and hugs to all my friends.

She’s finally popped up on Facebook, and it just reminds me how much I miss her. And Dylan. And Leah. And SarahKat, and Erin and Jeff, and Lawson, and, fuck it, everybody. I love you all, and you’re not here.

I know, I’ve got friends here. Thank god I still have some friends around. I love them dearly too. That doesn’t seem to make it better. At least I see Kate and Erin and Jeff and ever SarahKat once in a while. But Japan’s fucking far away. And I’ve actually gone and looked up airfare to Tokyo. Twice.

I’d be nice to win the lottery or something.

The whole point is to make enough money to be able to live while I surround myself with friends I love. That’s hard to do when they live all over the world.

I started moving stuff around. I couldn't stand the shelf over the desk, so I took it off. Desperate for a place to put it, I shoved it between my bed and the wall. I propped it on crates, and now it's exactly the height of the bed, which makes it quite a nice nighttable. I would have preferred to have it sittong on something else at bed level, which would give me more surface, but this'll do.

I'd take a picture, but I left my camera at home.

Well, kinda. I finally got around to clearing out all the “friends” on my list who I don’t really know. At all.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been keeping a blog called Blog Battered Least of All. It’s a pretty general blog, but it’s not a personal journal. That stuff stays here. Right now it points to a couple of my pictures from the Cindy Sheehan vigil.

I miss everyone so much. I can’t wait for next week. It’s so nice to read people’s LJs again. I only wish I had a better memory of who each one was…I think I have them all now.

I also got a real kick out of reading the quotes I posted from my room last year. God, they’re idiots. :)

So, anyway, I probably won’t post much here, but I’ll try at least to lurk more.

Oh, and SarahKat: we need to talk radio. Apps are due. Let me know when I can call you or IM you or something.
